简单句中的省略情形:口语对话,感叹句,日记书信及标志标题

1．在日常对话中常常用到省略句，一是在回答问题时，一是在接着别人说话时：
When are we due to arrive?一In about two hours．
我们什么时候到?——大约两个钟头后到。
Will you join us?一I should love to．
你愿意和我们一去吗?——我愿意。
Have you spoken to him?一Not yet．
你给他讲了吗?——还没有。

It looks like a shower．——Yes，somewhat．
看起来要下一阵雨了。——是的，有点像。
I went to an exhibition this morning．——With whom?
我今天去参观了一个展览。——和去的?
I hope I am not disturbing you too much．——Certainly not.
我希望我不会过分打扰你。——当然不会。

2．在陈述自己的意见，提出问题或要求或是在感叹句中都可以字词省略：
Not feeling very well today．
今天得有点不舒服。
Must have gone to work．
准是上班去了。
Nice day again．
又是一个好天。

Anybody against it?
有人反对吗?
What next?
下一步怎么办?
Just a drop more．
再喝一点点。

Just Wonderful!太妙了!
A good idea!好主意!
Stupid!愚蠢!

3．在日记，书信中也有时有字词省略，报纸题中也常有省略句：
But with Bill in the morning．A wet day．
早上和比尔出去，下着雨。
Having a wonderful time．Marvelous Weather．
玩得很好，大气好极了。

Senator to seek reelection．参议员争取再次当选。
