并列连词的用法:and,or,either or,neither nor,both and,as well as

1)and和，而：
Men and women，old and young，all joined in the battle．
男女老少都参加了战斗。
Justice is on your side And justice will triumph over injustice
正义在你们一边，而正义是会战胜非正义的。

2)or或，否则：
You may do it yourself,or ask Paul to do it．
你可以自做这事，也可请保罗来做。
I must go now．or I'11 be late for the party．
我现在得走了，否则晚会我会迟到了。

3)either…or或是……或是，要么……要么：
Come either today or tomorrow．你今天来或是明天来。
Either you must improve your work or we shall dismiss you．
要么你进工作，要么我们就辞退你。

4)neither…nor既不……又不：
They worked neither for fame nor for personal gain
他们工作既不为名又不为利。
She could neither speak the language nor write it．

5)not only…but (also)不仅……而且：
we should not only be bold，but also be cautious．
我们不仅要大胆，而且要谨慎。
Not only was the coat soft；it was also warm.

6)both…and（两者)都：
We should pay attention both to industry and to agriculture．
我们对工农业都要重视。
A man should have both courage and perseverance
一个人既要有勇气也要毅力。

7) as well as和：
I have read one of his novels as well as a few of his plays．
我看过他的一本小说和几个剧本。
It is important to you as well as for me.
