相互代词each other和one another的用法及区别

英语中的相互代词只有两个词组：each other和one another。相互代词是表示相互关系的代词，一般在句中可译作“彼此”、“互相”、“相互”等。

each other和one another的用法
两个相互代词的用法大致一样，不过each other主要用于二者之间，one another用于三者或三者以上。例如：

We must avoid hurting each other.
我俩必须避免互相伤害。
They haven't seen each other for quite a few years.
它俩已好几年没见了。
People looked at one another after the earthquake.
地震过后人们面面相觑。

each other和one another的所有格
each other的所有格形式是each other's；one another的所有格形式是one another's。

We should not copy each other's homework.
我们不该互相抄作业。
They held each other’s hands tightly.
